FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention relates to a pull-out protection for a profile cylinder comprising: a cylindrical housing with a front end which is provided with a projecting first locking edge and a rear end which is provided with a projecting second locking edge and a key plate which is in the housing is present and abuts against the first locking edge, which key plate is provided with a keyhole.
State of the art
Such a pull-out protection is generally known. A pull-out protection must ensure that, in the event of an attempted break-in, the cylinder of a profile cylinder cannot be pulled out of the profile cylinder housing in order to open the lock.
Summary of the invention
An object of the invention is to improve the known pull-out protection. More in particular, the object of the invention is to provide a pull-out protection of the type described in the preamble that is more suitable in the lock hole and on the profile cylinder. To this end, the pull-out protection according to the invention is characterized in that: a securing groove is present in the inside of the housing at the location of the second retaining edge, and the pull-out protection further comprises a resilient retaining ring present in the housing which is interrupted in one place and is provided with a projecting protruding edge that is present in the locking groove.
The retaining ring is preferably provided on the outside with projecting first projections which, as a result of the resilient action of the retaining ring, are in contact with the inside of the housing under pretensioning.
Furthermore, the retaining ring is preferably provided on the inside at locations between the first cams with inwardly projecting second cams which are connected to the rest of the retaining ring via resilient lips cut out of the retaining ring and with which the retaining ring can be clamped onto a profile cylinder.
With the pull-out protection according to the invention, the parts are locked with respect to each other without play. The pull-out protection according to the invention can also be clamped on a profile cylinder. A rattle-free construction is hereby obtained wherein the key can be properly inserted into the lock because the parts are accurately positioned relative to each other as a result of the play-free construction.
An embodiment of the pull-out protection according to the invention is characterized in that a recess is provided in the housing from the rear end so that the housing can be slid over the circular cylindrical part of the housing of a profile cylinder, the non-circular cylindrical part of the housing of the profile cylinder extends through the recess.
A further embodiment of the pull-out protection according to the invention is characterized in that the keyhole in the key plate is formed by a concentric circular opening or by a slot which may or may not be present in the key plate from the center.
The invention also relates to a lock plate provided with a front side and a rear side with which the lock plate is fitted against a door, as well as a lock hole with a further locking edge projecting inwards at the front side.
With regard to the lock plate, the invention is characterized in that the lock plate further comprises a pull-out protection according to any one of the preceding claims which is present in the lock hole, wherein the housing of the pull-out protection protrudes through the lock hole and the projecting second locking edge of the housing of the pull-out protection is in contact with the further locking edge of the lock plate protruding inwards.
Brief description of the drawings
The invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment of the pull-out protection according to the invention shown in the drawings. Hereby shows:
Figure 1 shows a lock plate covered by a cover plate provided with a pull-out protection according to the invention;
Figure 2 shows an exploded view of the lock plate with the pull-out protection viewed from the rear;
Figure 3 is an enlarged detail of the pull-out protection shown in Figure 2;
Figure 4 shows a detail of the lock plate with pull-out protection and a profile cylinder in front view; and
Figure 5 shows a detail of the lock plate with pull-out protection and a profile cylinder in section.
Detailed description of the drawings
Figure 1 shows by way of illustration a lock plate covered by a cover plate 51 provided with a pull-out protection 1 according to the invention. The lock plate 41 with the pull-out protection 1 is shown in an exploded view in Figure 2. The lock plate is shown viewed from behind. The lock plate 41 is provided with a rear side 41B with which the lock plate is mounted against a door and a front side 41A. In the lock plate 41 there is a lock hole 43 with a retaining edge 45 projecting inwards at the front side 41A. Furthermore, there is a latch hole 47 in the lock plate 41 and a number of fixing holes 49. The pull-out protection 1 is present in the lock hole 43 and is assembled. from a housing 3 with a key plate 9 and a retaining ring 15 present therein. The housing 3 of the pull-out protection protrudes at the front 4 IA of the lock plate through the lock hole, see also figure 1.
In figure 3 the pull-out protection 1 is shown enlarged. The housing 3 of the pull-out protection is provided at a front end 3A with an inwardly projecting first retaining edge 5 and at a rear end 3B with an outward projecting second retaining edge 7. This second retaining edge 7 is in contact with the inward projecting retaining edge 45 of the lock plate 41 (see Figure 2). In the inner side 3C of the housing 3 at the location of the second retaining edge 7 there is a locking groove 13 for the retaining ring 15.
This retaining ring 15 is made of a resilient material and is provided with an interruption 17. The retaining ring 15 is provided with an outwardly protruding locking edge 19 which is present in the locking groove 13. The retaining ring 15 is furthermore provided on the outside with first projections 21 protruding from the outside, which are in contact with the inside 3C of the housing as a result of the resilient action of the retaining ring. Furthermore, the retaining ring 15 is provided on the inside at places between the first cams with inwardly projecting second cams 23 which are connected to the rest of the retaining ring via resilient lips 25 cut out of the retaining ring. With these second cams 23, the retaining ring can be clamped on the circular cylindrical part of the housing of a profile cylinder. For the latter, a recess 27 is provided in the rear end 3B of the housing 3 so that the non-cylindrical part of the profile cylinder housing can protrude through the recess.
The keyhole 11 in the key plate 9 in this embodiment is formed by a slot present in the middle of the key plate. Depending on the position of the keyhole in the profile cylinder, this slot may also be present from the center of the key plate or there may be a concentric circular opening in the key plate instead of a slot.
Figures 4 and 5 show a detail of the lock plate with pull-out protection and a profile cylinder in front view and in section, respectively. The profile cylinder 31 has a housing 33 with a circular cylindrical part 35 and a non-circular cylindrical part 37. The cylinder 39 provided with a keyhole is located in the circular cylindrical part 35. The non-circular cylindrical part 37 projects through the interruption in the retaining ring 15 and through the recess in the housing 3 of the retaining element 1.
Although in the foregoing the invention has been elucidated with reference to the drawings, it should be noted that the invention is by no means limited to the embodiment shown in the drawings. The invention also extends to all embodiments deviating from the embodiment shown in the drawings within the scope defined by the claims.

Pull-out protection (1) for a profile cylinder comprising: a cylindrical housing (3) with a front end (3 A) provided with a first locking edge (5) protruding inwards and a rear end (3B) provided with a projecting second locking edge (7) and a key plate (9) which is present in the housing and abuts against the first locking edge, which key plate is provided with a key hole (11), characterized in that: in the inside (3C) ) of the housing (3) a locking groove (13) is present at the location of the second retaining edge (7), and the pull-out protection (1) further comprises a resilient retaining ring (15) present in the housing and located at a location (17) interrupted and is provided with an outwardly protruding locking edge (19) present in the locking groove (13).

Pull-out protection (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the retaining ring is provided on the outside with first projections (21) projecting outwards which are in contact with the inside due to the resilient action of the retaining ring 3C) of the housing.

Pull-out protection (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the retaining ring is provided on the inside at places between the first cams with projecting second cams (23) which via spring-loaded lips (25) cut out of the retaining ring are connected to the rest of the retaining ring and with which the retaining ring can be clamped on a profile cylinder.

Pull-out protection (1) according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that a recess (27) is provided in the housing (3) from the rear end (3B) so that the housing over the circular cylindrical part (35) can be slid from the housing (33) of a profile cylinder (31), the non-circular cylindrical part (37) of the profile cylinder housing protruding through the recess (27).

Pull-out protection according to claim 1, 2, 3 or 4, characterized in that the keyhole (11) in the key plate (9) is formed by a concentric circular opening or by a slot which may or may not be centered in the key plate is present.

Lock plate (41) provided with a front side (41A) and a rear side (41B) with which the lock plate is mounted against a door, as well as a lock hole (43) with a further locking edge (45) projecting inwards at the front, with the characterized in that the lock plate (41) further comprises a pull-out protection (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, which is present in the lock hole (43), wherein the housing (3) of the pull-out protection protrudes through the lock hole and the second locking edge protruding outward (7) of the housing (3) of the pull-out protection (1) is in contact with the further locking edge (45) of the lock plate (41) projecting inwards.
